C. I sent this message to JZ:you’ve probably already seen this but i hadn’t and now i am crying at my desk because it’s the most visually gorgeous thing i’ve ever seen. because it’s not a rendering or an IR composite of a faraway gas cloud or galaxy.
it’s home.
We get so numbed to things like this because of all the CG in the world, all the photo trickery and the make believe. You can consciously start watching this with the knowledge that it is real photographic timelapse, but there’s a moment when it sinks in that it’s real, and that moment is special.
